Với mật độ nuôi 400 con/m2, kỹ sư Đinh Vũ Hải đã thành công với mô hình nuôi tôm thẻ chân trắng siêu thâm canh ở quê hương công tử Bạc Liêu.
Quê gốc Phú Yên, lớn lên ở Nha Trang (Khánh Hòa), 14 năm trước, kỹ sư thủy sản Đinh Vũ Hải vào Sóc Trăng lập nghiệp và thí điểm mô hình nuôi tôm thẻ chân trắng thành công tại thị xã Vĩnh Châu vào năm 2006. Năm 2008, anh Hải đến thành phố Bạc Liêu, tỉnh Bạc Liêu thuê đất nuôi tôm. Trại tôm của anh nằm ngay dự án điện gió ở địa phương này.
Mô hình nuôi tôm trong nhà kín của anh Hải được ngành nông nghiệp đánh giá là an toàn, giảm thiểu tối đa dịch bệnh.
Anh Hải đầu tư đến 10 tỷ đồng/ha mặt nước làm “nhà tôm”. Bùn đáy ao tôm được đưa sang con mương này rồi chuyển vào hồ nuôi cá. Nước thải được xử lý sạch chuyển ngược vào ao nuôi tôm.
Bên trong nhà kín nuôi tôm siêu thâm canh của anh Hải, tại đây tôm nuôi được cho ăn bằng máy, dưới đáy ao được lót bạt.
Giữa ao có hệ thống hút bùn đáy thường xuyên để không bị ô nhiễm môi trường.
Hệ thống ống ôxy đáy ao nuôi tôm thẻ siêu thâm canh với mật độ 400 con/m2.
Ngoài hệ thống ôxy đáy, trên mặt nước còn có quạt.
Theo anh Hải, sau 72 ngày nuôi, tôm thẻ trong các nhà kín đạt trọng lượng 42 con/kg, năng suất khoảng 87 tấn/ha/vụ.
Thông thường nông dân nuôi bên ngoài mật độ dày nhất chỉ 50-100 con/m2, năng suất chỉ 10-20 tấn/ha/vụ. 1ha tôm siêu thâm canh giúp anh Hải thu về 15 tỷ đồng/năm, trừ chi phí lãi khoảng 4 tỷ đồng.
